Compendium Challenge Countdown and a GIVEAWAY!

We're just a  week away from the launch of the Compendium of Curiosities Technique Challenge, which begins next Monday, June 14! The response has been absolutely awesome so far, and I know we're going to have a fabulous time working through T!m's tutorials together. (If you missed the post last week, click here to see what the heck I'm talking about!)

To kick off our Countdown, let's have a giveaway! One winner, chosen at random from among the comments left on this post, will receive two brand new (and hard to find!) Tim Holtz storage tins! The larger one is his Embossing Powder case, which comes in its original box. The smaller one is also a Tim Holtz signature product, and while I'm not sure what its"official" purpose is, it's just the right size for a little embellishment kit. I'll also throw in a mystery surprise, because.. why not? ☺

Please be sure the email link is active on your Blogger profile, or include your email address in the comment you leave, so I can reach you if you win. The drawing will be held this coming Thursday, June 10, as soon as I wake up!

Speaking of giveaways, in the original post last week I mentioned that there would be a few prizes for the Compendium Challenge participants. Well, hold on to your shorts, because a several of the very best vendors in the world have offered to keep us supplied with prizes throughout the entire 35 weeks of the Challenge Series!  I can't say thanks enough to:

Talk about incredible generosity and enthusiasm! They all adore Tim as much as we do! Please show these nice folks some love when you stock up on your supplies.

Also, if you're a member of the All Things Tim group at Yahoo, you're in for a treat, because Gloria (the list mom) will be giving special prizes to members who participate in the Compendium Challenge. If you're not a member there, this is a great time to join, and not just because of the prizes. It's a great place to hang out!

Finally, I've been asked by a few people how they can participate if they don't have their own blog. It's not a problem at all! I'll be setting up an album at Split Coast Stampers where anyone who'd like can upload their art. I'll have the link ready when the first Challenge posts next Monday.

That's it for now, but you're welcome to email me if you have any questions. This is going to be SO COOL!

Hugs,
Linda

Thanks again to our prize-wielding Compendium of Curiosities Challenge Sponsors!

I'm squealing with excitement! (And also biting my nails hoping my book gets here in time to start the challenge! I ordered it a few days ago.) I also joined All Things Tim after seeing the link here. I took a couple of classes with Tim about 8 or 9 years ago (when he was just becoming quite popular!) and he is a very patient, fun teacher. Can't wait to get started - thanks for hosting this!

I dont really understand what is needed on these bloggie things lol:) but it sounds like fun....I will try and look in. Think its going to be a big success if Sir Tim is involved. I love his stuff but here in UK it is quite pricey .... so dont have much apart from DI and grungeboard....

I am thrilled you thought this up; I've done a few of the techniques in the wonderful book, but this way I'll be sure of getting to them all.
And thanks to the generous sponsors! (I did hold onto my shorts as you suggested, but that's hard to do while fingers are crossed, hoping to win!)
