Distress Misting Masks!

Happy Monday, and happy 27th installment of this celebration of Tim Holtz's A Compendium of Curiosities! Holy cow, it's hard to believe there are only nine more challenges to go before we've worked our way through every technique in the book. Thank you so much for being part of this project. Please open your Compendium to page 60, where you'll find Tim's instructions for Distress Misting Masks, and let's get started. If you're new to this series and don't have the book, you can get a copy from the man himself by visiting Tim's website.
Sue's compiled an enormous and wonderful Valentine-themed collection to send to one lucky participant in this week's challenge, and it will include Tim's Heart Wings Die, Tim's Love Struck stamp set, some red velvet ribbon, two Color Washes and two Liquid Pearls and two Distress Stickles - all in appropriate colors, of course! Plus, she's adding three sheets of gorgeous German Scrap and a set of sweet Jenni Bowlin chipboard Valentine buttons. What a spectacular prize package!!!
To be eligible to win this gorgeous Valentine's Day treasure trove from It's Always Fabulous, simply create your own art using the Distress Misting Masks technique and link it to this blog via the InLinkz button at the bottom of this post. You're in the running as long as you honor these two simple rules:
1. Follow the technique as it's written in A Compendium of Curiosities (adding your own special flair, of course!); and
2. Out of respect to Tim, please don't post the technique instructions on your blog!

Everyone's art is so great! I have to say that although I love my masks and mists, this technique was not my most successful! LOL I do have several background pieces in my (s)crap basket now!
