Stamp is from Suzi Blu for Unity, colored with Copics.
Seriously, we do. Okay, so it's not just for breakfast anymore, but could there be a better incentive to get out of that cozy bed than a giant bowl of... oh, let's say coffee-flavored... ice cream?
I don't think so, either. Over at the Drunken Stampers Challenge Blog (and Malt Shop), we're celebrating this idea-whose-time-has-come with an entire week devoted to Ice Cream for Breakfast-- and we want YOU to join in!
Now, I know that 90% of North America and a sizable chunk of Europe are covered in snow at the moment, but just go with this, okay? Think, "Ice Cream Whilst Lounging in a Hot Bubble Bath," or maybe "Ice Cream in Bed After Hitting the Snooze Alarm Fourteen Times," or something like that. Or, pretend it's late spring, like I did, and create your art around that beautiful thought.
My design teammates totally rocked this, by the way, and I hope you'll hop on over to the Drunken Stampers Lounge to see how they've interpreted the theme. Get all inspired, and then create your own Ice Cream for Breakfast artwork. You know you wanna! This challenge is open through next Friday, February 11.
By the way, what IS your favorite flavor of ice cream? Just wondering...
Hugs,
Linda

Yeah on Ice Cream for Breakfast! I need this stamp. Great job on the coloring.
Love your card, the coloring is WONDERFUL! Ice cream is good even in 20 below weather. Trust me. You just sit in front of the space heater whilst you eat it. No biggie. My fave flavor, and you can also trust me when I say I'm an ice cream connoisseur, is Dean's Fannie May Meltaway. Mmmm...it's so good it's or***mic, you fill in the blanks.
I love this Linda, its so clever. I struggled coming up with something clever for this challenge, lol, but yours turned out beautifully.
I recognized the Suzi Stamp right away. LOVE Suzi!!! :) My hubby would love ice cream for breakfast. He always claims "ice cream" isn't food. LOL What!?! Anyhow,I personally like a flavor at our local shoppe called graham cracker smacker. They have also pumpkin, which is available seasonally. My mom's favorite - ironically - was coffee ice cream! :) Theresa
Beautiful card and I can't really argue with that splendid sentiment!
Love your Suzi Blu card!! Also, love the way
you changed the sentiment and the coloring
is beautiful!! My favorite ice cream is
chocolate.
Great card. Not sure about ice cream for breakfast today anyhow, it was blowing a gale... but not specially cold. You can keep coffee flavour though. I'm quite fond of plain old vanilla, or strawberry - can you tell I'm not very adventurous with my food?!
Cute card! If it is snowing where you are you could just set out a bowl and catch some snow for snow cream ;)
New England has the highest ice cream consumption per capita of them all, and when I lived there I dove in along with the rest of them, & soft serve black raspberry was my It flavor. Now I only eat ice cream one time a year--at Christmas--and it has got to be spumoni!
