Grungy Monday 2: A Visit to RangerInk.com!

Featuring Special Guest Star Designers
Ellen Bellomo and Maggie Harris!

Well, blog friends, I'm BLOWN AWAY by the amazing response to Grungy Monday. Did you see all those incredible submissions for our first challenge?! Beautiful, brilliant and breathtaking. You guys are amazing!!!

For our second Tim Holtz-themed challenge, we're going to take a virtual field trip to the Ranger Ink website. As you likely know, Ranger produces a great many of Tim's signature products, including Distress Ink, Alcohol Ink, Mini Misters... actually, it's a huge list, and that's one of the reasons I think Ranger is the most amazing ink company on Planet Earth!

Along with all the great info about Tim's products, RangerInk.com also offers quite a few excellent instructional videos, and that's where this week's challenge inspiration can be found. Follow the link below and learn all about:

Distress Ink with Studio Multi Medium!

I bet you're going to love this technique!

I'm honored to introduce this week's Special Guest Star Designers, two enormously talented and inspiring artists whose work I've admired for a long time. Give it up for:

Eileen Bellomo

Maggie Harris

Are those gorgeous cards, or what?!

Here's my own little cyber-punky piece:
Please click here for a list of the products I used for my card.

Now, check out that video and come play along with us!

Once you've completed your piece, please upload it here using the InLinkz feature at the end of this post. You'll need to have your own blog or an online, public photo album in order to participate. Flickr, Photobucket and Picasa are all good choices for photo sharing.

Please be sure include a link to Tim's website (www.timholtz.com) in your blog post or photo description. I'd appreciate it if you'd link back to Studio L3, too.
Over at the All Things Tim discussion group, lovely List Mom Gloria has created a photo album specifically for Grungy Monday artwork! This group is chock full of lovely, supportive people, and if you're not a member yet, I encourage you to join the fun and share your artwork there, too!

Okay, friends, go get messy and distressy! You're welcome to upload your GM02 art anytime between now and Sunday, April 10 at 8 pm MDT, when this challenge officially closes. Click here to convert this to your own time zone ("Time and Place to Convert From" is 6 a.m. in Boise, ID. Enter your own city in the "Place to Convert To" field). I'm sorry, but once the the challenge closes, InLinkz will not accept late submissions.

I know you're going to ROCK this technique.

Thanks so much to Eileen and Maggie for their spectacular art!
