Featuring Special Guest Star Designers
Happy Grungy Monday, everyone! I apologize for the technical difficulties with Blogger right now-- all the text in this post vanished between the time I scheduled it and the time it posted, and I have no idea why! Anyway... onward, and let's dive right into a fun technique from Mr. Holtz's most recent holiday celebration:
I'm delighted to introduce you to two incredibly talented designers who are certain to inspire you to let your creativity run wild! These ladies are brilliant. Check it out:
Christine Nay
Julie Forest
I love how Christine and Julie used the same technique yet came up with such wonderfully unique pieces. Beautiful art, ladies!!!
Here's mine...

We'd love to see your take on this clever use of packaging material! Visit the link above to Tim's blog for you inspiration, then create your own artful piece this cool packaging recycle technique, then add it here using the InLinkz button below. You'll need to have a blog or online, public photo album to link from. Don't forget to include a link to Tim's blog in your post or photo description!
Remember, too, to share your masterpiece at the All Things Tim group at Yahoo, where fabulous Gloria has set up a photo album just for Grungy Monday art! You'll never find a nicer, more supportive bunch of people, so if you've not a member, join up!
I hope you all have a fantastic, artistic, inspiring week!
Hugs,

Ouuu! Gorgeous design team art ladies! Excellent examples of different takes on Tim's technique!
And I just did a HUGE clean out and chucked all my packaging that had molded shapes in it! Thankfully I kept the back because I had see this idea before! Now I can only do one of the examples, Oh well, I guess you can't win them all.
Great inspiration from the design team! I loved this tag when we did it last Christmas.
A bit confused as to where the rock candy crackle paint and stickles come in?
Fab technique today, Linda - love all your samples.
Jennie, thanks for finding that error! I had all kinds of trouble getting this post to work, and when I checked it this morning, almost all the text was gone. Poof! ACK! So, I quickly pasted in some instructions from a previous challenge, apparently without reading the passage very well! It's corrected now, and hopefully less confusion will result. :-)
Hugs,
Linda
Great DT work, fantastic inspiration.
Hi Linda! Love your sweet little tag! Your acetate overlay makes me think of swirls of love surrounding the house! <3
Love this week and apparently a few of us like the Umbrella Guy for this! Great inspiration as always!
Your acetate overlay makes me think of swirls and especially I like those surrounding the house. Best for inspiration.
Whoo Hoo! I've been saving my plastic packaging ever since I saw this Tag! And you and the Designers did a great job showing this off. I can't wait to jump in and play!
Beautiful DT work! Took a few days but I got it in gear and put mine up.
Great challenge Linda, wonderful inspiration!! xx
Great Challenge and Great DT inspiration. Thanks Linda. Love the modern feel to your tag.
I have really enjoyed this challenge this week, I loved using the recycled packaging and will use this again, it adds so much dimension. Love your arty pieces this week, again all so unique, I love to see everyone's take on the challenge and the DT have pulled out all the stops. Tracy Evans x x
Some of these challenges are truly challenging for me, Linda! It does make me think, however. Thanks for the opportunity...and for all the inspiration from you and the DT.
Well, I noticed that you and the Designers did a great job showing this off. I can't wait to jump in and to do soon. Great for inspiration.
This is a fantastic creation, and I like to appreciate you for entering it in the Allsorts challenge this week and I hope you can won it.
