A Beautiful Tammy Tutterow Project Giveaway!

Pin It Edited December 11 to add:
Congratulations to Susan K, winner of the Tammy Tuttuerow Welcome Banner class! Susan was chosen via Random Number Generator, and she's going to ROCK this project! Thanks to everyone who participated, and I highly recommend purchasing this amazingly inexpensive, downloadable tutorial.

I'm just loving the reinvigorated focus on handmade gifts and decorations this holiday season, and was delighted to learn that my friend Tammy Tutterow is offering a brand new downloadable class on the most gorgeous Welcome Banner I've ever seen.  Check this out: It holds a little key for Santa Claus!

Known as "Tammy Tutorial" to all of us who enjoy the beautifully composed craft lessons she shares every week on her blog, Tammy has gone all out on this class. It includes a supply list, printable instructions in .pdf format, and an amazing, richly-detailed slideshow that walks you step by step through the creation of your own Welcome Banner.

This is my next project, once the 12 Tags of Christmas is wrapped up. Wouldn't it make a sweet hostess gift?

The class is a bargain at only $5, and I'm thrilled to have the honor of giving one away to one of my blog readers! To be eligible to win, simply leave a comment telling me your favorite winter holiday song*. I'll choose the winner by Random Number Generator on Sunday, December 11. Don't forget to include you contact info in your comment!

Thanks to Tammy for allowing me to play Santa Claus-- and for creating such a cool project!

Hugs,
Linda

*(Mine, by the way, is Lee Ann Womack and Harry Connick, Jr.'s come-hither version of "Baby, It's Cold Outside." My, oh my...)

Hi Linda: This is a gorgeous project!
My favourite song is an oldie but goodie by Jo Stafford from the 1950's "Night Before Christmas". She sings the classic poem and her little boy also has speaking parts. He just has the sweetest little boy voice! My mother had the LP and it was always played each christmas eve. I recently found the tune on-line and downloaded it - bring back lots of memories!
Thanks for the chance to win!

TT outdid herself on this one! And you are a Peach for offering a chance to win the tutorial.

sorry, I made a "boo, boo". The song's title should be "Twas the Night Before Christmas". It's on Jo Staffords "Happy Holidays" album.

Isn't Tammy's project gorgeous. I saw it on her blog today. I have so many favorite Christmas songs it's really hard to choose. It's probably a toss up between between Santa Baby or The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an open Fire) but there are so many others too!!!

I'll definitely have to check out her site- that's a great project! I'm not sure what my fav is but two that come to mind are both off of the Ally McBeal Christmas album (sounds cheesy but there's great music on there!) They're Calista Flockhart's "Santa Baby" and Robert Downey Jr's "The River." Of course, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy doing "Heatmiser/Coldmiser" is WAY up there too...

OOOO!! What a lovely idea!
BUT! I have to pick just ONE favorite Christmas song?! Maybe Little Drummer Boy....nope....I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas, wait....love the Halleluja Chorus....Silver Bells.....
I can't narrow it down!

Love Tammy's project and yes, it would make a great holiday gift. My fave holiday song is 'Silent Night' when sung at the midnight service with only candles lit in the chapel.

Beautiful banner, and very generous prize.

My very favourite Christmas time song is the very nontraditional Fairytale of NewYork, by The Pogues and Kirstie McColl. (though I also love Band Aid's Do They Know Its Christmas?) just realised they are both very British lol.

I love Tammy's work too! This is such a cute little project and so typical of her style with the fabric elements and all.
Not sure if I have one favourite song but certainly the one stuck in my head the last few days is 'Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow..'...Not that I really want it to but anything might be better than the persistent wind and rain that we've had the last few weeks: Ideal crafting weather!
