Wow, I can't believe we're halfway through the 12 Tags of Christmas already! This is my magnificently sloppy version of Tim Holtz's tag for Day 6, and though it's not going to win any prizes for prettiness, it really does remind me of a beat-up old aluminum tin, the kind of thing my dad might keep in his workshop to hold little parts for his antique engines. (Hi Dad!)
I used Tim's "Holiday Words" Texture Fade for the embossing, and folded big red Christmas rose (to cover a really ugly part of the tag.... shhhh! Don't tell!). The jingle ball and little ornament are also, um, strategically placed. ;-)
Isn't 12 Tags a blast?? Tim and Mario are absolute ROCK STARS for giving us this awesome project.
See you tomorrow!
Hugs,
Linda

Your tag is stunning! totally loving it!
I was thinking about using this embossing folder but was too lazy to paint all the blocks...great job! And aren't embellishments for covering up 'things'??? That's what I was told! lol Love your version on the technique!
I luv your version of Tim's tag... looks like an old metal license plate that's been around for awhile...
