A Birthday Card for Tim Holtz!
Using any technique from A Compendium of Curiosities Vol. 1 or 2
It's not entirely a coincidence that we finished working our way through Tim's fabulous book at the end of the year. Tim's birthday is coming up in a few days, and it only seems right to wrap up this project with a celebration of the guy who works so hard and gives so much to inspire us all.
And so, for this grande finale, your mission to is create a birthday card for Tim, using your favorite technique from the Compendium series! Any technique from either of the books.
Oh, did I mention the prize? It's pretty special. It begins with this very hard-to-find Tim Holtz embroidered canvas apron:
Wait, it gets even better: Tim and Mario will personally autograph the apron especially for the winner of this challenge! I'll take the apron to the Craft and Hobby Association Show in mid-January and they'll sign it there. I'll even snap a photo of the moment and send it along with the apron.
I'll also throw in some fun Ranger, Sizzix and Idea-ology goodies, courtesy of Mario!
This challenge opens for submissions today and closes on Tim's birthday, January 7, at 11:59pm (Mountain Time). The winner will be announced the following morning.
Once you've uploaded your photo, leave a comment if you need Tim's address and I'll email it to you so you can send your card to him. (Please don't ask for his address if you haven't submitted a card to this challenge-- that would not be cool!)

Finally got card done and pictures posted! I had it started earlier this week, only to have my mother end up in the hospital for a few days and I had no time to finish it. She's home today and doing fine...so I sat down to get my card finished. Now to get it in the mail!
